Trend-spotting #NYFW, Featuring Parsons Alumni

As the city bids the fashion folk farewell and the curtain closes on another season, it’s time to recap the best looks from New York Fashion Week.  The industry’s hottest designers (many of which passed through the hallways of Parsons 560!) sent models strutting down the runway for their Fall 2013 collections.  Some of these sartorial sorcerers like Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan have defined American style for years, while relative newcomers like Prabal Gurung and Cushnie et Ochs are making a huge splash on today’s fashion scene.  Here are some of this season’s most popular trends from your favorite Parsons alums:

About Syd

Sup! I'm Syd. I just recently graduated from the Strategic Design & Management program this past fall, but I'm still kickin' it on iheartparsons.com to offer some words of wisdom! I love Sriracha sauce, quoting Spongebob Squarepants, solving Rubik's Cubes, and electronic dance music. Go Parsons!
