Maya Weinstein is an artist, programmer, hacker and photographer.  She enjoys creating pieces that are conceptual with a strong narrative, exploring our relationships with the internet, literature, and what’s around us. She frequently finds new and exciting ways to employ tactile elements to computational art.  Maya received her BA in Art History and BFA in photography at the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently pursuing her MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons The New School for Design.  Maya resides in Brooklyn, NY and can often be found riding her bike, collecting cameras at flea markets, getting local produce at the Bushwick Farmers Market, or hanging with her dog Zion.
